    Hey guys.

No:1 I really really would like with this one. First off I’m not a WordPress geek so please be gentle.
I’ve already created a splash page and it works wonders. Only thing is, the homepage for the theme I have is set to Display Recent Posts and that’s like permanent so changing that action to display static page means I loose the home page completely.

I wanna know, can I make my splash page come first and then allow the Recent posts action as normal.

No:2 I made a gig animation for my splash page, when coding it I learnt how to centre it from left to right but is there a way to centre it completely dead centre. That is from left, right, top & bottom.

I would be extremely delighted for the solutions to these problems.

For this to happen, the first question has to be answered and completed. According to your first question, I would take the PHP code (not all of it-just the code you know that you need for the home page) from the home page and put it into your splash page. Tell me how it works out.

    Hi Munny1.
Thanks for the answer. I did manage to get the code for centering the image. But now the issue is with the 1st issue.

I dont quite understand what you said there. Please be a little bit more elaborate.

This is actually the answer for your first question. Copy all of your home page (recent post) coding (assuming that the splash page comes up as the home page) and paste it into your splash page, right under the last line of splash page content but before the php call for the footer and other objects. What theme are you using? I would be able to provide with a more accurate answer if you could give me your URL and theme.

Great stuff. You are really kind.

    Theme: Alus WordPress Theme

Make a page template for your site. Go to your theme editor and copy the code that calls your recent posts. Also copy the code for splash page. Paste them in your new theme template in the order you want. Put the template in your FTP client. Make a static homepage that uses your new template.
