Hello everybody,

Either I am doing something wrong or I caught an error in Zotpress.

Tried to write a page with three in-text references, which are as follows:
[zotpressInText item="8MAC6IXH"], [zotpressInText item="W8CSDGDA"], and [zotpressInText item="QQTGHUT5"].

I do have a [zotpressInTextBib] shortcode in a standalone shortcode block at the end of the page/post.

They all show up as spinning wheels and, in addition, the text after the first reference on the page gets all enclosed in the <code></code> tags (yes, each and every paragraph, including the sidebar and the footer).

The content is just a test; trying to set up Zotpress and see if it’s worth using. ??

And I caugth this exception in the JS debugger:

Well, it wasn’t my fault but of WordPress. It somehow managed to change the simple quotes in the shortcodes to the rounded ones!

Then I edited the paragraphs as raw HTML, saved the page, and voilá, Zotpress in-text references on the test page started to work.

Well, I had some work with debugging a Zotpress JS script (zotpress.shortcode.intext.min.js) but it brought the desired fruit. ??
