I have a multisite installation for people to demo wordpress and astra starter sites. When I import a starter site on a new multisite install, the spinning wheel never stops. It just says “Your Selected Site Is Being Imported.” But the spinning wheel never stops spinning. I have removed the plugin, and re-installed it. I have tried to reset apache, mysql, ngnix, php fpm, memcache, it hasn’t worked. I upgraded php to 7.3, but it didn’t work. I tried on an existing subsite to import a page, and I still get the spinning wheel. I switched from chrome to firefox, and it didn’t help. Are your the starter site servers down right now? I can’t figure out if my setup is the problem, or if the starter sites servers are down. Thanks very much for such an amazing product and service!

Additionally, I get a warning in debug.log saying “Cannot modify header information – headers already sent in …”

I tried to install a template page in the mainsite, and it worked. When I try with the subsite, it doesn’t work. Still looking for a way to install on subsites of multisite installation.

The line it lists is in pluggable.php on line 1284 (and 1281 in the error above it)

Could you kindly deactivate all other plugins and try again? Some plugins (mostly security) could be blocking your server from contacting ours. Or sometimes image optimisation plugins interfere and block the import process.

If all other plugins are deactivated and you’re still having issues, could you please confirm the PHP version on your host / website?

We recommend having PHP 7.0 or latest possible.

I tried many things, including your suggestions, but I couldn’t get a subsite to import. It worked when I re-installed multisite on a fresh install, but my other WordPress install was messed up. So for anyone else looking for a solution, the only one I could find is re-installing WordPress multisite.
