    Hi,

On my site when I get to the checkout there is a spinning loading wheel that won’t go away and it doesn’t allow me to continue to the sale. How am I able to get rid of this.

Some details on the site at the moment. I am using the main storefront theme with no changes. I only have woocommerce and an SSL plugin activated.

Here is my woocommerce status log

I have no idea how to resolve this issue. If needed I have access to all WP files and databases.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Since you have a rather simple setup, let’s skip the full conflict check for now. Do you get any order notification emails?

If no, can you try and install a SMTP plugin, thereby replacing the internal PHP mailer. Does that change anything?

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

I usually can’t get as far as the order notification because I’m not able to complete the order due to the loading wheel remaining over the payment options.

However I have been able to complete an order by disabling the ajax on the checkout flow in my functions.php, when I use this method, and I am able to complete the checkout, then I will see order notifications being sent. But this seems like a hacky solution that I’d rather not do.

    Thanks

    Hm, yeah. Hacky indeed.

That also does point to a Javascript conflict. Possible but in your case not very likely. Did you rule out conflict already?
Any error in the browser console or any errors in the debug.log?
WooCommerce also attempts to log any fatal errors. You can find these under WooCommerce > Status >> Logs (click on the tab). After clicking on the logs tab examine the dropdown on the right for any “fatal-errors” entry. If there is one, provide its contents here as well.

There are no js errors when browsing through the site, or when getting to the checkout page specifically. No fatal-error logs in woocommerce logs and checking debug with debug bar and query monitor, there’s nothing of note on the checkout page.

UPDATE: I installed a new instance of WordPress on my server, and only installed woo-commerce. And I still have the spinning wheel on my checkout page. Which leads me to believe that this is an issue with the server setup somewhere

If the server is caching the checkout page, this could very well be the cause of that. I would check with your host about that possibility.
