Spinning Wheel…Just Keeps On Spinnin’…

  • So I’ve installed the plugin but it only renders a spinning wheel, both on the front and back end and on mobile. I have just a few plugins installed and am using the Twenty Seventeen theme. Suggestions? Thanks,

    Yes, otherwise I can’t see what’s going on ?? I wonder, though, did you include the [zotpressInTextBib] tag at the bottom of the post? That’s the most common reason for just seeing spinning wheels.

    I’m not sure what you mean by that tag. I’ve only installed the plugin and created one reference thus far.

    Also, while I’ve looked at the documentation I’m still not very clear on how to implement the plugin. I would like to make references with footnotes at the bottom but I’m not sure how to use all of the different shortcodes or if there’s an extensive list of shortcodes and their functions. Thanks,

    I’m not sure what you mean by footnotes. You can create a stand-alone bibliography or have in-text citations and a bibliography at the bottom. You can also show your whole library or have a search bar.

    I checked out your page, and I don’t see any calls to Zotero, despite all of the Zotpress files apparently being included. Can you share your shortcode?

    I wonder if this is a case of special characters. Is that the exact shortcode? If so, the quotation characters need to be changed to the “plain” versions:

    [zotpressInText item=”{7VY3MLR2}”]?

    to

    [zotpressInText item=”{7VY3MLR2}”]?

    Otherwise it’ll break.
