Note: When I have them both activated, neither loads: https://i.imgur.com/aDkF2PW.png

Also, now I deactivated the PLUS version and the original no longer works. I deleted the PLUS version and the original still no longer works in the admin (but it’s still showing icons in articles on the front-end).

    I’m on PHP 5.5

Hi Hilary, this kind of error usually doesn’t have anything to do with our plugin. As you noted, the old plugin also doesn’t work anymore (but it used to work) so something else must have happened in the meantime. Did you add any new plugins maybe?

Nope, didn’t change a thing. This all happened within a span of 15 minutes.

Something about installing the new plugin made neither of your plugins work. As I said, I installed the old one, then the new one all today in the span of 15 minutes, and it seems to me that the new one being installed when the old one was still in there made neither work.

    Our plugin screen now: https://i.imgur.com/oHQsSXB.png

We’ve programmed them so that they can be used in parallel, and many people use them that way, so there must be something special on your site. Could you please de-install (not just deactivate, but deinstall, to remove all traces) them all, and only install the old one, and see if it works?

Is there a way to backup my settings and then import them so I don’t have to re-do them?

Also, what’s the advantage of using both in tandem? Thanks!

I don’t know of a backup solution, sorry.

Some people want to show different icon sets on different pages, so for that they can use them in parallel.

This page is breaking because of a JSON callback that never completes. Specifically https://m.addthis.com/live/red_lojson/300lo.json.

A workaround is to stop the page from loading by pressing the escape key or the X button next to the address bar. This will also stop any other resources from loading so wait for the page to finish mostly loading and then press the button. The page will show and you can configure and save your settings.

I disabled the plugin and the addthis_widget.js script goes away. So the problem script is not a conflict from a another plugin.

I’m on Linux with Chrome 45

Yes, we’ll remove addthis in a future version. Please de-select the addthis-features, i.e. the PLUS-icon under question 1, and the share-button under question 3, where you select to have icons displayed before or after posts.

Actually this affects Social Media and Share Icons (Ultimate Social Media) too.

It’s what we have installed on our site. I found this page from your activity feed and didn’t think to check which plugin it was for.

The same procedure works for our plugin it’s just in a different section of the settings page. In section 6, I unchecked all of the options for “Do you want to display icons at the end of every post?”.

I have the same problem, but your instructions do not help in this case since the loading is already stopped, but I do not see the configuration page anyway.
