Spinning Arrow Keeps Going Upon Submit

    Hello there. I have used this plugin on this site (https://superskewer.com/contact-us/custom-ordering/) for several years now… and it used to work perfectly. Now, however, for the last few months upon submit the spinning arrow working indicator just remains spinning. The form is submitted and received successfully, but there is no way for the user to know this. I tried deactivating all plugins, and at the same time switching to WP 2014 theme – to my surprise, still the same result. I then tried deleting the Contact Form 7 plugin and reinstall. No change. I am at a loss now. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    The source HTML shows this at the bottom:

    and this is the direct cause of the issue. Check on settings of WP Super Cache.

    Oh my goodness… THANK YOU! I’m sorry to have bothered you with issues caused by another plugin.

    Although that plugin was already Deactivated, I deleted that plugin entirely, and all is great now with the Contact Form.

    That WP Super Cache plugin had been deactivated for quite some time. I didn’t know it could still place code like that when deactivated. Can you tell me, is that normal, or is that the result of a problemed plugin?

    It’s normal. Cache plugins commonly need extra steps when deactivating it. Maybe it’s written somewhere in their docs.

    WP Super Cache is a known issue reported several times in this forum – apparently the WP Super Cache plugin is not fully removed when deactivated and creates an ongoing error.
