I have a site running your plugin. When the SEO Management Agency adds a new blog entry we see a spike in CPU usage which returns to normal after a few minutes.

The Agency contact mention something about the Google API – any suggestions as to what maybe causing this resource spike and anything we can do to prevent it.

    Hi @sflwa,

    Thank you for your feedback.

The only thing that can use more CPU on post save is the process to download the remote images in the local library.

You can switch off this option from Squirrly > Live Assistant > Settings > Download remote images.

All the other services are loading one time as a javascript library on your blog so it shouldn’t affect any CPU.

We haven’t receive any similar feedback since the plugin exists so maybe it’s a compatibility issue in the saving process. Can you try using Squirrly SEO without other plugins and see if you get the same CPU behavior?

    Best, Calin
