Spike in CPU Usage

    We were alerted to high CPU usage on our shared hosting account. During our investigation, we found that this plugin was causing CPU usage to spike daily by 300% or more on some days. We determined it was the Co-Author plugin by tracing the logs and as soon as we disabled the plugin CPU usage immediately dropped to a normal level. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We want and need to use this plugin so a solution would be greatly appreciated.
