    I would like to hide the text “Kommentare deaktiviert” on my start homepage signal-online.de in the template spidermag.

    Editing the comments.php file in the wp-content/themes/spidermag folder was unsuccessful. Even if I delete this file, nothing changes.

    I have added the following to the style.css

    .comments-closed {

    display: none;

    }

    to the style.css. This does not change anything either.

    Next, I installed the plugin >Remove “Comments are closed”<, also without any effect.

    What can I do now to get rid of the “Comments are closed”?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I fixed it now with adding

    .slider-meta {
    display: none;
    }
    .text-danger {
    display: none;
    }

    to style.css.
