Spider Catalog: ‘A non-numeric value encountered …’

  • I just tried to create a little catalog wit a few very simple products.
    Worked fine, without any warning/error.

    – but, when I added the “Spider Catalog” in a page, the result shown on the web indicates an error. The text (see bellow) is visible in the page – not very nice…. could anybody tell I how to avoid this.?

    It is the same on all (5) products I’ve created in 2 categories.

    PS. makes no sence to public web page, as until error is solved the page ar deactivated.

    It’s the same version as I’m currently are running….(v 1.7.3)

    Not possible to reinstall, as folder already exists …. what to do ?

    How do I remove all of current installation, to reinstall ?

    Hi,

    Please do not uninstall the plugin. If you receive “the install of it failed because it said the directory already existed”, please delete the spider catalog folder and install again the latest version of the plugin. You can delete the folder via FTP account or you can install the File manager Plugin and delete the folder via this plugin.

    Hi,

    Diden’t work….
    Folder was removed upon deleteion of plugin
    Installation was done without any errors
    Activation done
    – but looking in the product the old products still exist (from database ?)

    And a new created – do still have the error message

    Is something in the database to be deleted, to get the product working ?

    Sorry for having not been available…

    Do you meantime have any suggestions for me to get the “Spider Catalog” running correct at my site ?

    Do you have a command or simular to get completly remove all from previous installations (folder(s), database entries etc.) – when I could start all over again ?
