Sphider Integration

  • Hi all

    I’ve work on this for some time and I still cant get it right, does some one else know what to do, or can explain it, or knows of another tutorial, I just cant seem to get this working..

    Just an update

    I removed the sphider plugin from my WP completely

    I replaced the search.php file to the WP as default for current theme

    Did a search and i got the standard search results OK, but it looked OFF to me, but I know that’s the style it was created at.

    but I wasn’t happy, so I replaced the search.php with the one from the WP Sphider plugin as it says too when you read the WP Sphider plugin file as if you were going to do a full install again. “Just to see if it would do any thing”

    Well I didn’t install the plugin at all, I’ve even removed the tables in SQL database, so I know its not there

    but now when I search it’s a neat search results page..

    Why is this happening ?, is it just reading the search.php I replaced with the one from the WP plugin even thou the Sphider plugin is not installed
