SPF Record Failure (Daily Emails)

    UpdraftPlus is configured to send a daily backup report to my email.

    I recently enable a DKIM policy which provides me with DMARC aggregate report. The reports are telling me that the email sent by UpdraftPlus has no SPF record. Is there a way to correct (or ignore) this?

    Hi,

    This doesn’t really involve anything inside UpdraftPlus. You need to add the server that your WordPress site is on to the SPF record that lists which servers are allowed to send email for that domain.

    It’s not *emails* that have SPF records. SPF records list servers that are allowed to send email. The particular originator (in this case, UD) of the email on the server is irrelevant to that.
