Spent 2 Hrs Writing Important Draft Yesterday – Now It’s Gone! Pls Help

I hope someone can give a little help here.

I spent quite a while yesterday writing an article that I wanted to publish today.

Yes I hit the ‘save draft’ button, but even if I hadn’t the automatic saves would have ensured that the content was stored.

However, now the post is completely gone. I have searched ‘all’ posts, not just ‘drafts’ to see if it’s there, it isn’t.

Can you think of any possible explanation for this or how I might recover the work?

Have you ever heard of this happening before?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
