    Hi guys,

I’ve been on the Beta program for Spectra and love it. When I did a test update during the Beta from UAGB to Spectra it had backwards compatibility from UAGB to Spectra for things like Sections and Advanced Columns however this is no longer the case when updating.

I just get errors like this on EVERYTHING: “Your site doesn’t include support for the “uagb/section” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.”

I have over 50 websites using UAGB and I cannot redesign all of them. Please assist!

    Best,
    Matt

  • I also have the same issue as @stelat. Waiting for solution…

    Hello @stelat and @rastoraztresen,

@stelat, I’m sorry, I didn’t understand this – Thank you for the quick fix, however how I am supposed to do this fix on packaged themes?

    Can you please elaborate more?

@rastoraztresen, I’d like to let you know that it is not for new users.

This issue is only for the users who have already updated the plugin from version 1.25.6 to 2.0.0.

The need to run this ?spectra_old_user=yesin the URL once and the issue will be fixed.

People directly migrating from 1.25.6 to 2.0.1, will not face any issues and will not have to do the above step.

    I hope that clarifies.

    Hi @swetakumari

What I meant is the following: –

I have several theme packages that import the site pages with all the content there – blocks, images, text, everything.

I have used primarily the UAG blocks – section & advanced columns.

The themes install automatically all required plugins, including the UAG plugin.

Now, if the theme is installed on a new site, the UAG plugin is directly installed to the latest version – Spectra 2.0.2.

And in this case, there is no compatibility for the section & advanced columns blocks therefore most of the content, can not be edited in the page editor.

As I don’t find it serious to ask future clients to add peace of code to their URL, just so their theme can work out –

What would be the solution to such cases?

I hope this new update doesn’t mean that I have to redo all of my themes in order to make them work and I know I am not the only one with premade themes out there.

    Thank you!

I have a lot of pages designed using these blocks for columns and similar. Now these blocks don’t look like before, and when editing the page, this block shows message “This block has been deprecated. We recommend using the new Container block instead for more flexibility, and better code markup.” Do you expect that I change all of my hundreds of pages to restore the previous state of pages’ lookout???

This fix does not cover it for us and our sites. from blog posts to spacing issues. I find it horrendous that a company with so many clients and sites goes ahead with major changes like this without testing properly beforehand.

    Hello @stelat,

There is a new release of Spectra 2.0.3 that has fixed most issues that came up with the latest updates. Please update to Spectra version 2.0.3 . After updating, please be sure to regenerate the assets. We do this automatically after the plugin is updated, but just to be sure, go to “Spectra > Settings > Asset Generation > Regenerate Assets” and press the button.

Also, empty cache and hard reload while on the editor screen. Here’s how: https://share.bsf.io/2NumNvZ2.

    Hope this helps.
    Regards.

Dear Sirs, I have also a problem with “Your site doesn’t include support for the “uagb/section” block.”

As you recommend “Please update to Spectra version 2.0.3 . After updating, please be sure to regenerate the assets.”

I am using WordPress 6.1 and Spectra Version 2.0.14 and I have regenerated the assets but the problem exists anyway.

Is the version 2.0.3 higher than 2.0.14 – how do I upgrade (I do not see a higher version in my WordPress-Installation)?

I have tried to convert the uagb/section to “Spalte” – but it is not possible to format text horizontally to “centered”, text is shown “left-sided”.

And your recommendation “The need to run this ?spectra_old_user=yes in the URL once and the issue will be fixed.” – our homepage is a page in the WordPress-Database called “Steuerberatung und mehr – bei der U?3?“Ottakring” (which is loaded on “finconsult.at”) and so I do not know how to add this text, because it changes to https://finconsult.at/?spectra_old_user=yes (… at/?…) and does not solve anything.

For your information – the text is “Kosten sparen durch Datenimport und Belegbilder + horizontal line + Die Buchhaltung der Zukunft ist digital – und der Umstieg ist einfach!” and should be shown “horizontally centered”.

    Please help!
