The latest version of Spectra (2.11.0) has a compatibility issue with Gravity Forms. After updating to Spectra 2.11.0, the block editor returns a 503 Service Unavailable error. I’ve recreated the issue on a fresh WordPress install with only Spectra and Gravity Forms running (on the Astra theme).

The issue can be circumvented by downgrading Spectra to version 2.10.5 or disabling Spectra’s template button.

  • Bless you! I have been looking all day for an answer to a similar problem and turning off the Template button fixed it immediately.

My problem was if Spectra and Gravity Forms were updated and activated, it took 20-40 secs to Add Page/Edit Page/etc. Turning off the templates in Spectra fixed it. Rolling back either didn’t fix it.

Thank you!!!!!! SOOOO relieved! This is the second time in as many months thhat this has happened with these two plugins. Hopefully, this will fix it for awhile.

    Again, THANK YOU!!!

    Hi @karlemilnikka,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

It appears there is a conflict between the Gravity Forms plugin and the Gutenberg Template Library used by Spectra. When we deactivate Gravity Forms and keep Spectra activated, the 503 issue does not occur.

To address this, could you kindly report the issue to Gravity Forms Support? They may already be aware of this issue.

Our Starter Templates team is actively investigating this matter as well.

    Have a nice day!

Today’s Spectra 2.11.1 solves the issue.

I disable the templates as well. It only worked temporarily. It is back to not sending information added in form.
