    Hi,
I have a custom post type (CPT) and would like to embed a contact form in the bottom of the template for this CPT, so that every entry of this CPT has a contact form, so that a visitor to this page can contact the company listed in this CPT entry.

The email address of the company in the CPT entry is a custom field within the CPT. It is NOT the email address of the CPT entry author’s wp account email (in their profile).

I know of course how to get the contents of this email address custom field into a variable, and I imagine I need to somehow set the recipient of a form to this variable….

Can I/ How do I specify in a form to send the submitted form content to this email address?

    Thanks ahead of time.

  • Hello,

Our team will be happy to help you with this question (which can be done with Formidable). Will you create a new ticket here so we can better assist you?

    LOL
I did actually and I was told I had to pay to get an answer.

This for me is a presales question.
It is part of evaluating your plugin.
To not give me any kind of answer here, and instead ask me to ask again, at another site, does not help me move ahead at all.
Also, I asked a simple related question at your support site, and was told I need to become a member….
I would like to suggest that you consider that these kind of responses do not help people to use your plugin.

It’s true that support from our team is reserved for paid users unless you are reporting a bug. This is the case whether you post here or on our site. As far as a presale question goes, yes, this can be done. But you’ll need the pro version to do it.

Let us know in our help desk if you decide to purchase, and we’ll be happy to give you more guidance on this.

Thank you Steph for making things clear.

You indicate that I need to buy the Pro version in order to be able to do it, and it can be done. That is clear.

Jamie on the other hand, in her post above, says it can be done, like you do, but she skirts around the fact that I have to buy the pro version, by instead saying I need to create a ticket. I think she could have been more straightforward.

I am in process of evaluating the main form plugins and Formidable is now on my short list to try (the paid version).

I apologize for the confusion. I was assuming you were already running the pro version. I was not aware this was a pre-sale question.

Thank you, Steph, for clarifying that the pro version is needed!

Thanks Jamie, I should have explained it was a presales question.
