    Hi, Kevin,

Here’s another question as we are installing Algori PDF Pro on our website:

Is it possible to specify the page to which a PDF opens based on a URL parameter? We have the need in some cases to start the recording player on a page at a certain time stamp and to have the PDF, which is a transcript of the recording, open to the page in the transcript that matches the audio.

I see there is a way to specify this as a fixed number in the page number setting in the Gutenberg block, but we need something that is more flexible, such as being specified via the URL.

Thanks for your response and for this “best in class” PDF viewer.

    Best regards,

    Marty

    Hi Marty!

Thank you for appreciating the Algori PDF Viewer.

After specifying a fixed page number in the Gutenberg block, click on the “More Options” block settings menu, then the “Edit as HTML” option on the dropdown.

Copy the URL from the block HTML textarea, it will have the fixed page number that you set.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers!

    Hi, Kevin,

Again, thanks for your advice! This can work, but was hoping for a URL Parameter, which would be much easier to implement when creating a URL to jump to a specific place in the PDF.

    Any further suggestions?

    Thank you!
    Marty
