Specify hidden dates

    I have a recurring event every monday-thursday from 10am-9pm, forever. There might be a particular week that I close down my business so I would like to be able to hide that event for that particular week only. I cannot find where I can specify the dates to hide it for just a week. If I set hide events to true, it just hides every event date forever.

    Ive seen similiar questions but still can’t figure out what I am doing wrong.

    UPDATE: I figured it out finally. When I create the event “business closed” I have to choose HIDE events for that event and it hides the OTHER events of the same category, not the other way around. So I had it backwards.
