• Strange one, this. I have a CPT “Customer” which generates slugs in the format https://www.base-url.com/customer/777/ where “777” is the slug automatically generated by my script (there’s an automated process for creating each customer). All works just fine, except for one slug, 777, which never loads. Loading another customer, say 55555, works just fine and this customer has precisely the same process to be generated.

Furthermore, changing the parmalinks to default (resulting in base-url.com/?customer=777) fixes the issue, but I would rather not use this format.

It’s not a deal-breaker, as changing the slug manually to literally ANYTHING else fixes the issue. I’m just concerned that this could rear its ugly head in the wild. Has anyone experienced this kind of issue before?

    Thanks in advance

    John

I should add: the page freezes before rendering. I.e. I get the browser waiting for a response but never even as far as a white screen, so I cannot use wp-config to troubleshoot any scripting errors.
