• I’m in the process of potentially moving over to WordPress, and I’m working on a template behind the scences to make it look how I want it. One thing I’d like to be able to do is “quick” posts that are simply a sentence or two.

I’d like these to look different, something nearly identical to what is done on “The Big Lead” and shown below.

    Example Photo

It seems like it might be simple and based on putting the post in a certain category. This would go perfect with pointing readers to a link or a quick news bite, but it’s beyond me.

Anybody know how to do something similar?

Looking into this a little bit more, it seems to be custom CSS based on the category and category ID. Does anybody know an easy way to implement it?

Hello, I think my question should be a simple one to answer but I am not very experienced on WordPress. I recently registered a domain via wordpress (add domain via the wordpress.com side) and I want my new blog to be available at that domain. I need to change the nameservers for this domain to do so (so I am told) but I don’t know how to go about that.

    Grateful for any advice.

    Adrian
