Thanks for providing the steps and screenshots. I did a few test on my site but I wasn’t able to replicate that behavior on my end, so it is very likely being caused by a code conflict. It’s so hard to do conflict test because we have to set special price and wait for tomorrow to see the result.

Thanks for following up with that info. Based on what I can see in the Status Report, the first thing I would recommend doing is backing up the site and then looking to see if there are any updates available for your theme and any active plugins. An example of this (that could be related to the issue) is the “Easy WooCommerce Discounts” plugin, which doesn’t show that an update is available for it, but version 4.11.0 is being used on the site while version 4.14.0 seems to be the current version (assuming that this is the correct plugin info).

If that doesn’t help, I’d suggest making a staging copy of the site (either through your host or via a staging plugin like those available here on .org), so that you can see if the same issue happens with a default WordPress theme as the next step, before testing with just the WooCommerce plugin active after that.

Easy WooCommerce Discounts is the plugin i don’t pay for update. I just deactivated it and test again.

If this doesn’t help. Do you have other hints as activating one more plugin and configure special price daily is almost impossible ? It would take me over a month to test even on the staging.

Sorry to hear that it wasn’t resolved in time for the promotion. If you are planning on doing more promotions in the future, I’d suggest creating the staging copy of the site that I mentioned before so we can do more troubleshooting (like testing with a default WordPress theme, since the active theme overrides a number of the WooCommerce core templates).

I just tested twice and the result seem to have same pattern.
In this test scenario, our normal price is 349 and special price is 299 in day1.
Result :
day0: normal 349
day1: normal 349 / special 349
day2: normal 299
day3: normal 349

Clearly the slashing mechanism worked correctly on assigned days. But the price changing mechanism was delayed for exactly 1 day. It even changed back to normal price correctly.

As we do not have staging site yet. We have to try simulate and do some guess work. Do you have any idea ?

I tested post schedule to ensure the server’s cron , and it works fine.

Since everything is working but not on the correct schedule, it makes me think that there is a conflict. One way to test this without a staging site would be to use “Troubleshooting Mode” in the Health Check plugin to see if the correct sale price shows (doing this test on “day1”, using the example above) when WooCommerce is the only active plugin in Troubleshooting Mode and a default theme is being used.

Troubleshooting Mode is user-specific, so you will be the only person able to see that version of the site. Any other person who visits the site will see the normal version of it.

I would first try creating a test product that is hidden from the catalog and setting the sale schedule to that same day to see how that shows on the site in Troubleshooting Mode.
