Special Index Template – PLZ HELP!!!

    I am trying to create a template that acts as an index.

    I want to create a page that then shows an index of all the pages that are children of that page. The index should therefore ONLY include the titles of pages that are children of this index top level page.

    This index is needed since I have a lot of articles that are NOT blog posts – think research papers :).

    I am completely new to this template creation but would be eternally grateful for anyone’s help.
