Special hours from Google My Business are ignored

@erikmolenaar This is a known limitation of the Google Places API. It will not collect special opening hours, just the regular opening hours.

In the future, I’ll add support for the Google My Business API, but support for this generally is not as good as the Places API. I have also requested Special opening hours be supplied from Google within the Places API, but I haven’t seen any movement here.

I recommend using Structured Data to keep your Google My Business listing current. Google will collect this data each time it crawls your website.

Just wanted to mention that I am also anxiously awaiting this update. This way any changes we make to our hours via Google My Business will also be reflected on our site, instead of having to update it in two places.

I have just completed a web project and I have a little more time to work on the plugins once more. I will look into the Google My Business API, smaller screens (in Dashboard) and RTL support next.
