• Hi and good day,

The plugin is really one of the best in what its doing,

lately i have an issue with keywords that have special characters such as “&”, “,” and “‘”, then i updated to the last update, however they wont be linked unless i go through the article and basically just copy the whole post in “visual mode” and paste back and all the tagging will be fixed again,

For other keywords i will have to go to the plugin links management, remove the link and add back only then it will work, i have tried clearing the cache in server and cloudflare, but still the same,

Any idea on the root of this issue,

    Thanks alot,

Hello. Sorry for the late reply. Is this happening after the latest update ? It worked fine before ?

Hello. Thank you for patience. It took me a while to figure out what is happening. I noticed that in some version of wordpress, the post saving in the code editor differs from when it is saved in visual editor. I am not sure why is happening. So, if you just go to the visual editor and click “publish” or “update”, the links should work. Please tell me what version of wordpress do you run. I am still trying to find a way to prevent this happening and make it to work even if you edit your post trough code editor.

    Thanks for the reply man,

Well yeah it was working fine, however since the last two updates from wordpress and maybe three it start acting like that,

If the special character keyword is not linked i will have to go each post and cut the content and paste again in visual mode for it to work, i am now running the latest wordpress version and the latest version of your plugin as well.

Hello. On my test servers, if I go to visual editor and just click update, the links will work after that. No need to replace the content in visual editor if you already wrote it in code editor.

Hello. Can you please update to the latest version, and then go to Auto Affiliate Links -> General Settings in your wordpress admin panel. There, check the “Force special chars” checkbox and see if the links are added without having to save the post from visual editor.

    Thanks for all the efforts,

I have done that, now the plugin is in the latest version as well as the wordpress, i have changed the settings as well but still wont work,

I will have to go to the post and on visual mode click update,
