Special characters in Glotpress translation

    Hi,

    When translating a theme or plugin I sometimes notice linebreaks and arrows. For example:

    <p>Imsanity automaticaly reduces the size of images that are larger than the specified maximum and replaces the original? → → with one of a more “sane” size. Site contributors don\’t need to concern themselves with manually scaling images? → → and can upload them directly from their camera or phone.</p>?

    When I visit the plugin settingspage I see this:

    My question: what to do with the linebreaks and arrows inside this paragraph, while translating this?
    I guess I can ignore that, except the p tags?

    Since they’re there for a purpose, it doesn’t harm to keep them in your translation.

    Hi,

    I checked core files of that plugin and I think it’s caused by the way developer added text strings there: he has used linebreaks and tabs to make text look cleaner in core file.

    So I guess I can fully ignore these characters..
