I am adopting BuddyPress Forum Notifier and find it good.

However, my WP user handle is “Tony – Antipole & site admin”, indicating my dual function. In the notification emails, where the author is placed, this comes out as:

Tony – Antipole & site admin

    Any chance of a fix?

    thanks, Tony

The above did not show properly. The string in the emails is:

Tony - Antipole & site admin

    Thread Starter Antipole

    (@antipole)

Trying again – the string is:

Tony - Antipole && site admin

    Thread Starter Antipole

    (@antipole)

Third time: the string is showing as:

    Tony - Antipole <an ampersand>amp; site admin

    Thread Starter Antipole

    (@antipole)

Additionally, in the excerpt the text ‘launching’ (with single quote marks) is being sent in user emails as

    ‘launching’

    Thread Starter Antipole

    (@antipole)

    That last should read:

    <an ampersand>#8216;launching<an ampersand>#8217;
