• Hello there, first of all I want to say THANK YOU for that great tool! It worked great for a few years but now there seems to be a problem.

    Since a few days I am facing a problem with Speak the Word Set and Android devices + Thai language.

    Some people report that it is not possible to use it anymore on Tablet or Smartphone (Android / Chrome) and I am facing this problem too. We are talking about different users in the world with different mobile devices. On desktop it works fine. If you click to listen than the button will stay red. Sometimes the program will understand but it takes up to one minute of waiting time.

    Permissions to use the mic are correct. It also works on this sitehttps://h5p.org/speak-the-words

    But as soon as I use Thai language it will not work anymore. I tried it on a fresh server and a new domain. There is the same problem. It must be connected with the language. Any idea what could be the problem?

    We haven’t seen this before and I don’t see anything obvious that we can change in the content type to fix this, I’m worried this is actually an issue with the Google API. We will continue to investigate. Maybe it is a temporary issue with the API?

    If it is a temporay issue than it should be a problem since 25th January or maybe earlier.

    I checked your site with the pixel 6 (latest Android) and it works fine. If it’t not working it’s probably related to the device or its settings.
