Sparkling post navigation wrecked by WP 4.7 update

I’ve confirmed this issue first existed with the current release, Sparkling 2.3.2.

For now, I’ve rolled back to 2.2.2. Previous/next post navigation works properly in 2.2.2.

Developers, please fix this bug!
