My client uses your REST API plugin. All labels are handled on your backend, not integrated in the WC order, no settings but the API key.

Quotes are retrieved so slow that the update_checkout ajax trigger times out on it in combination with a custom shipping plugin. It took me months before I discover that the blockOverlay disappeared once I deactivated DHL, the slowest quote.

Will this plugin be better? Will quotes still be based on REST API calls or can it work with faster locally configured quotes? You probably are aware that from WC 9+ REST API will be considered legacy?

And most importantly, will it work for a Spanish based shop too?

    Hi erniecom,

Our plugin does not rely on the WooCommerce REST API, instead we make use of the WC_Order and other classes provided by WooCommerce as much as we can.

That said, the DHL eCommerce plugin is currently only available for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. This means if your WooCommerce store country is set to a different location, our DHL settings will not show up.

    Kind regards,

    Plugin Development Team
