Span anchor not created for headings containing single quotes

I click on the first couple of links in the TOC, which work, then I try to click on the one that contains single quotes, which does not.

I was able to replicate this by adding and removing single quotes to headings.

The same heading which contains single quotes copied from your site works fine at our end when We tested it creating new post with Twenty Sixteen theme.

We have solved many issues related to special characters in few recent updates. try our latest version again. if it does not solve your issue than there is a case that some other plugins might have conflict with ETOC.

Try to find which plugin has conflict. Let us know

Latest version of wpuntexturize Version: 2.2 (two years ago)

wpuntexturize is currently disabled on our live site so those TOC links with quotes work.
