    The plugin “Limit Login Attempts Reloaded” came preinstalled when I downloaded WordPress when I began hosting with IONOS. After a few weeks, this plugin began spamming me with “Failed Login Attempt” emails to convince me that I needed to upgrade to their premium version.

    Worst plugin ever. Never detected a true login attempted, but sure filled my inbox with fake attempts in an attempt to get me to spend money with them.
