Spams the admin interface persistently
-
I currently have two interrupt based noticed cluttering up my WordPress install with Page Builder Framework installed. I don’t know if PBF is installed, but it’s certainly not in active use. One of those notices reads:
?? Love using Page Builder Framework? – That’s Awesome! Help us spread the word and leave us a 5-star review in the WordPress repository.
I don’t find this cut or charming. It’s rude and on top of that the emoji suggests PBF is for teenagers or the mentally challenged.
Rather stupidly the first notice reads:
You need to install/activate the Page Builder Framework theme for Page Builder Framework Premium Addon to work!
You’d think at this point PBF could figure out the last thing I’d like to do at this point is give PBF a five star review.
Two stars as as far as page builders go, Page Builder Framework is better than most. I don’t have a very high opinion of page builders generally and how they sabotage site performance. Page Builder Framework is well-engineered, until you start to use it, and then it turns your site into the same spaghetti-code non-semantic monster all page builders do.
I hope I can find a way to make PBF just go away.
