Spammy looking email from Complianz plugin?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the awesome plugin!

    Yesterday I got an email about one of my client sites with the title:
    “Your legal documents on https://sitah.co need to be updated.”

    The body of the email was:
    “Your legal documents on https://sitah.co have not been updated in 12 months. Please log in and run the wizard to check if everything is up to date.”

    The sender was:
    “WordPress <[email protected]>”

    That’s it. Seemed very sketchy as there was no identification of what plugin or theme this may have come from. I initially that it may be a hack but then I suspected it may have come from Complianz. When I logged into the site, one the Tasks in the main Complianz page is:
    “Your documents have not been updated in the past 12 months. Run the wizard to check your settings.”

    If from Complianz, do you think it would be beneficial to end users to add some more information such as “This email was auto-generated from the Complianz plugin on your website” so as not to trigger suspicions?

    Thanks for your feedback. You’re right, this email is not very clear on where it comes from. We will add some more background to this email with the next update.
