Spammy

  • Added a Black Friday spam banner advertisement with obnoxious yellow color to the main admin section, and then put a fake close ‘X’ that actually just opens up the website to their sale. Uninstalled. This is a great plugin if you like to be spammed.

    You should no longer see the Black Friday banner in the backend. That said, we understand that the banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy (the [x] close icon didn’t work as expected) so last Thursday we released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
