Spamming ads in the WP back-end?
-
Your pop-up notification in WordPress, “Power pack for contact form is now available with more stunning features and flexiblity. Use coupon code “POWERPACK” for 10% off” refers.
It cannot be dismissed. It just keeps coming back on every single back-end page reload. It’s highly annoying, and I am about to remove any and all of your plugins from our site to try and get rid of it. I understand that you are simply trying to promote your new product, and I would not have minded a once-off notification, but this is not the way to go about it. Pushing messages to a site’s back-end should be used judiciously and sparingly, not be used to nag incessantly. It’s actually turning me off from even considering the upgrade, the opposite of what you had intended.
Is there ANY other way to make it go away?
Also, the contact form on your website would not allow me to send the above to you – it was “flagged as spam”. Another annoyance (and irony of the highest order!)
