• They charge you $59-$479 per year to use this. Amazon has something called Native Shopping Ads that is 100% free and looks like the exact same thing as this plugin or Skimlinks has great tools as well. They also are spreading this via unsolicited spam emails so that is why I’m giving this plugin a 1 star. Stop spamming, it’s a horrible first impression when you send the same email multiple times to someone who didn’t ask for it.

I know you’re trying to make a point but please don’t put links in reviews. It’s been abuse by spammers in the past.

Not a problem – I was actually surprised to see the link go through, as long as people know there is a free version of this + how it’s being promoted.

Sorry that you got spam from us, John. Was it related to your “yofreesamples” website?

This is quite different from Amazon’s “related products” tool which you mention. While that tool is excellent, this plugin is quite different.

WP Commission is automatic, integrates deeply with WordPress, does not require sites to run third-party JavaScript on their sites (something consumers are increasingly concerned about), provides concatenated insight into actual editorial product links, doesn’t randomly suggest products based on a machine reading of WordPress content, and, finally, properly reformats all links across the user’s WordPress site to include the appropriate affiliate ID.

These are all things we, as publishers, have craved over the years –- and something we think a ton of website owners need. Maybe not you, though!
