Spammed USER Lockout Email

    I just had 500 emails (no f**king joke) of user locked out emails.

    I can’t hide the log in url or disable XML-RPC, it still happens.

    what the hell can I do about this attack!? They avoid brute force by changing IP and username.

    getting 500 emails is just ridiculous and I don’t want to disable alerts. Ridiculous!

    Hi @cpkn

    To prevent a large amount of emails you can change the option Maximum email alerts to send per hour in the Email Alert Preferences section on the All Options page. By default this option will send an unlimited amount of alert emails per hour.
