Spam users automatically in stream

An outstanding issue from last month is the unmoderated users showing in the Activity Stream.

Spam users (or other mischievous folks) registering with names like ‘bite me’ ‘you suck’ or worse that show up automatically in the stream before any moderation can happen.

I know this was discussed, but it likely got overshadowed by the other issues that you fixed in 4.2.5 (thank you for those fixes, by the way), so I thought I would bump it with its own thread.

Do you have any idea when this bug might be fixed?
