I have the recapture on registration and I have login set to “2” attempts but I’m still getting spam users.

Seems to me what’s missing is a recapture or a “I’m not a robot” on the login page.
Is there a plan on providing one in the future?

Have you installed anti spam plugin such as Akismet and Honeypot? Also have you setup Youzify registration captcha?
