    Hi there

I have a very simple WPForm that I’m using on my Contact Us page, and have enabled reCapture.

I don’t see any errors in the console, and the form both validates and submits successfully.

However, my client has informed me that they still get quite a lot of spam via the contact form. Is there anything that can be done to prevent spam submissions?

    Thank you,

    Matt

    Hi mattalexander,

Google’s reCAPTCHA is normally extremely effective. In this case, you should definitely try reaching out to your hosting provider to ask if they have suggestions, and you might also consider blocking certain IP addresses from your site.

If you’d like to block IP addresses, your web host would hopefully be able to advise further on this, or you could collect user IP addresses in your forms and follow WPBeginner’s tutorial.

    I hope this helps!
