SPAM site with WordPress Automatic Plugin copy the content

  • Hi, I have a problem with an automated spam website that is using the plugins/wp-automatic/, it copies all the content automatically and I have no way to block it. I already blocked the ip of the spam site but it keeps scraping all the content every time a new article is published. Also disable the feed and rss, but surely it is changing ip randomly to bypass my protection.

    Any suggestion?

WordPress’s philosophy and bill of rights permit people to use WordPress software for any reason they want, without any enforcement over legality or illegality. We leave that up to the webhosts. In cases of theft, abuse, harassment, or other such behavior, your best recourse is to contact their web host directly. You can use WHOIS to determine where they’re hosted, as well as resources like https://www.whoishostingthis.com to find relevant information.

    I understand that you can’t do anything, but since you are using wordpress what better than to find favorable answers to solve this kind of problems.

    It is getting easier and easier to copy content automatically. They should start taking note of this problem to improve wordpress security.

    The spam website is using cloudflare’s ip’s.

    I look forward to more responses from other publishers. It’s time to take content stealing plugins more seriously.
