Spam scan is taking forever, can’t edit posts

    Hello,

    I clicked on “Find Spam Comments” and it is already over 1 hour that the scan isn’t complete and it is not pausing even after clicking on the Pause button. Meanwhile, I’m not able to edit any of my existing posts. I get a small TEST message on top left corner on a white screen whenever I try to edit or add new post.

    I’ve tried deactivating the plugin (actually all the plugins), logging out and logging in again in my wordpress id as well as restart the droplet on DigitalOcean hosting but nothing works, the scan is still going on as I write this. Pls help.
