Spam registrations for email notifications

  • I use the blog subscriptions jetpack widget on my site, and I experience many spam registrations. Most of them from mail.ru, yahoo.com and gmx.com domain.

    Thanks for the report! While those subscribers don’t gain any access to your site, I can see how frustrating this could be, as they artificially bump your subscriber numbers. We’ll take a closer look and see how we can put additional barriers to the subscription process to stop bots.

    Until then, I’d recommend removing those subscribers from your list here:

    Any update on this issue? Hundreds of spam subscribers comes from mail.ru/yahoo.com/laposte.net-
