• Hi there

I am using WordPress 4.7.2 and UltimateMember 1.3.82
On my registration form I also use Google ReCaptcha.
    My site is: https://www.models.style

Currently I get a lot of spam registrations and I am wondering how this is possible ?
When I look at realtime google analytics, I don’t see any connections,
but as soonest I enable user registration, I get lot of stupid registrations ??
Also, what sense does it make for somebody or some system to register to my site ?

    Thanks for some help.
    Best regards
    Frank Uray

  • Have you considered adding an extra step in the registration process in which user has to click on a email link in order to activate the account?

Just wanted to add one more point: You can also consider using “Admin Approval” feature to eliminate User Registration Spam if email activation link is not something you want to do.

I’ve found that the plug-in WP Spamshield works to stop registration and comment spam.

Thank you for the answers right now ??

But, how is it possible to register on my site without
seeing somebody going on the site (analytics) ?

    Regards
    Frank

@frankuray – Please clarify what do you mean by seeing somebody going on your site without registration?
