    Hi, since several months if wp mail smtp plugin is activated and configured with a valid smtp credentials I receive a lot of spam

    I read in this forum and found other user with same problem but no solution

    My webmaster enabled recaptcha but problem still occurs (also askimet is activated)

    I don’t get how it’s possible if my contact form is like below (Name, email, message, privacy policy and recaptcha )

    Thanks for reaching out. WP Mail SMTP routes all emails sent from your site through the SMTP provider you’ve configured which also includes the spam emails. Spams should be prevented by the form you’ve configured. There are several spam prevention techniques such as Google reCAPTCHA that could be used. Please contact the contact form support or follow their documentation to prevent spams.
