Hey guys, how can I block spam?
The challenge question does not seem to help at all.

    Please help!

The plugin has built-in protections against automated spam, but a human user will be able to submit normally. One thing you can do is require a login to access/submit the form.

Well I doubt that a human user can do 400 posts in such a short time. Wasn’t there an anti captcha somewhere advertised in the description?

A login is no option Herr unfortunately…

The anti-captcha refers to the Challenge Question. In an upcoming version I will be adding Google reCAPTCHA or similar. Are you using the latest version?

    Yes latest version ??

Captchas would be totally awesome! Currently we got blasted with spam. First instance was just 10 entries but yesterday 486! So either the bot was modified just for this page from the spammers or the anti captcha and question ain’t working

Cool thanks for the feedback on this. The plugin does a good job of blocking automated spam in most cases, but if your site is specifically targeted then yeah a script could be customized to blast its way through. One thing that might help is to make the challenge question more difficult (or better tricky so that a bot can’t guess but humans can easily), and also try changing the challenge question periodically, as whatever automated script they are using most likely is entering a specific response to the current question.

Gonna go ahead and mark this topic as resolved to keep things organized. Feel free to post again if needed, I’m glad to help however possible. Thank you.

hello, has google recaptcha been added ? Thank you.

It’s added in the next version of the plugin, which should be available later this month.

Are you a genius ?! Thank you so much !
