Spam link Inserted to Every Pages of website

  • Can any one please help me to figure out below problem I’m facing now.
    look in the upper left hand corner of https://www.acrossplatforms.com — it says ‘the like button’. This is on every page of the website. Click it and it brings you to a site that spams our Facebook LIKE buttons.

    How can I remove this spam link. I am new in WordPress please help.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
