Spam, I am being attacked by spam comments

  • I was getting a lot of spam comments, but this plugin seemed to sort it all out: WP-spamfree. Try it out, and see if it helps.

    Are you running akismet?

    Anyway, it looks like you are still at version 2.3 of WordPress. If you have disabled comments and people are still able to post to your pages, then they could be exploiting an old bug, perhaps. I’d advise you to upgrade to a more recent release.

    Most spam plugins will allow you to re-scan approved comments for spam.
