Spam from CF7

Hello!

My client is receiving spam daily from all contact forms on their website with contact form 7. The spam looks like this:

From: “[your-name]” <info@medinello.nl>
To: <info@medinello.nl>
Cc:
Bcc:
Date: Sun, 11 Feb 2018 09:19:54 +0000
Subject: Medinello revalidatie “[your-subject]”
Van: [your-name] <[your-email]>
Onderwerp: [your-subject]

Bericht inhoud:
[your-message]

As you can see its just empty fields. I’m thinking it’s not even the contact form that is being submitted (google analytics doesnt see it either) but maybe spam to the mail address itself. But why would the WPCF7 fields be in this spam? Because obviously it’s using the setup and form tags of WPCF7.

Have tried setting up Recaptcha, deactivating the plugin. Mails keep coming in.

Anyone has a clue to what this might be? And if its spam outside WPCF7 (outside the form being submitted) why the spam would use WPCF7 tags? And how this can be resolved?
